I was first diagnosed with “light bones” in 2002 and, in spite of calcium tablets, it slowly declined until, in March 2008, I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in the Femur (T was -3.14). My doctor suggested Fosamax but I heard that it was fairly dramatic and was known to degenerate jaw bones.
